Engage For Africa

Engage for Africa is a project HQ Coaching has developed to work with school children across the UK who want to help children in Africa.

Engage for Africa is entering its fourth year of programmes and is going from strength to strength in supporting African school children. In 2012 we have an exciting calendar of events to raise awareness, also to provide equipment, financial support and to deliver coaching to our partner schools in Africa. The 2012 programme will see projects delivered to UK schools nationwide, trips to both South Africa and Uganda to continue our support and work in Africa.

HQ Coaching’s mission is to support thousands of African School children each year working with schools here in the UK to support schools in South Africa and Uganda. Our Engage 4 Africa sessions work with both pupils and teachers to promote and give a clear understanding of other cultures whilst demonstrating how Sport, Music and Dance, Art and Crafts, and Food can transcend cultural boundaries.

Our Partners in Africa and what we do together.

HQ Coaching works with two African partners. Together we share knowledge, learn about other cultures and encourage racial tolerance. We also provide much needed resources, equipment and assist in raising finances to develop facilities for the schools, communities and children of Africa. In South Africa HQ Coaching works closely to support AFRITWIN’s initiative to pair schools in the UK with Schools in South Africa. In Uganda HQ Coaching works closely with HUGS (Helping Ugandan Schools).

Our 2012 programme will see projects delivered to UK schools nationwide, trips to both South Africa and Uganda to continue our support and work in Africa. Our sessions demonstrate how pupils can use Sport, Music and Dance, Art and Crafts, and Food in the same way as children all over the world, we then deliver the programme to schools in South Africa sharing our experiences from the UK schools.

If you have any sports equipment, football kits or old boots you wish to donate to Engage for Africa please deliver them to our head office 1b Station Approach, Hoylake, Wirral, CH47 4AA
