Please wait...The step right project is about giving young people the opportunity to gain skills and experience as a sports coach so they can gain voluntary coaching work then paid work with HQ Coaching or any other sports coaching provider. The project runs for 12 week’s; each week eight applicants receive tutoring based on roles and responsibilities of a coach.
This project is for young people who are currently NEET and who have a passion for sport and think that becoming a sports coach is an opportunity for them to exceed in an area they enjoy.

Areas where placements will be accessed with HQ Coaching are at our centres in secondary schools and community centres. Other placements will also be made available in Leisure Centres, Football & Rugby Clubs, Health and fitness centres, gyms, independent sports coaching companies.
The main aim is to reduce the number of NEETS (Not in Employment, Education or Training) by engaging disadvantaged young people from the more deprived areas in the North West. The scheme will increase their employment opportunities, specifically within sports and generally, by:
